It was a sunny beautiful day for golfing. Thirty six people attended the golf outing and a total of 47 attended the luncheon.

Men's Longest Drive - Chris Echart winning a pack of tall tees Women's Longest Drive - Beverly McDowney winning a pack of tall tees Men's Shortest Drive - Fred Braam winning an emergency rain poncho Women's Shortest Drive - Betsy DeFeyter winning an emergency rain poncho Men's Longest Putt - Bill Simpson winning golf balls Women's Longest Putt - Betsy DeFeyter winning golf balls Best Marshmallow Putt - 1/2 foot from hole was Chris Echart winning the makings for smores
Last Place - Team 3 (Rich & MJ Bridges & Mary & Bill Davis) tied with Team 4 (Brian Nuffer, Fred Braam, Bonnie Colvin & Sam Kline) with Team 3 winning the tie breaker and the prizes of cozy cups
First Place - Team 9 (Vern Rounds & Beverly McDowney & Jim Dyke & Matt Bredeweg) tied with Team 7 (Tom & Molly Troost & Scott Marvenne & Chris Echart) with Team 9 winning the tie breaker and the first place prize of 9 holes of golf for each of them. The runners up each received towels NOTE: THE FIRST PLACE TEAMS WILL BE PLANNING THE NEXT GOLF OUTING.
At the luncheon we put everyone's name in a drawing and the winners were: Peggy Hilton winning $5.00 certificate from Mom & Dad's Cone Shop Valerie Weerstir winning $5.00 certificate from Mom & Dad's Cone Shop Ed Skotzke winning $15.00 certificate from Big Star Lake Inn
Thanks to all who helped out cooking, serving, & cleaning: Kristina Nuffer, Brian Nuffer, MJ Bridges, Jean Karsten, Cheryl Braam and Cliff DeFeyter & Bill Johns for use of their grills and to Johnny and Elizabeth Troost for running the marshmallow putt on hole 9. We were able to donate $66 70 to the Playground Fund
